I treasure this book very deeply. Her portrayal of a heroic man, who stuck with integrity to what he is most passionate about and then succeeded, really inspired me and help change my life for the better.

This is the first book I read by Ayn Rand and an enduring joy. Roark threw into epic relief what I had always implicitly known about people; that honesty, courage of principle, and dedication produces the happiness of a life well lived. I love Roark for his happiness most of all.
